I seriously cannot believe it is about to be May! With my birthday being May 23rd, I’m celebrating all month long with a series of fun birthday posts and surprises coming your way. To start things off, I wanted to share a little about the online invitation service, Paperless Post, as I’m designing some birthday invitations to celebrate in Huntington Beach next month.
If you haven’t already heard of it, Paperless Post is the elegant answer to online invitations. They bring the experience of opening a paper invite to your guest’s email inboxes without any paper or stamps necessary. This earth-friendly invitation solution offers a variety of invitations to suit any occasion. One of my favorite things about Paperless Post is their collaborations with artists like Sugar Paper, Anthropologie, Rifle Paper Co, and of course, my all time favorite photographer, Gray Malin.
After choosing the event I was celebrating, Adult Birthday, there were SO MANY amazing invitations to select from. I decided to narrow down my choices by filtering it down to my favorite artists. For a beach bash, a Gray Malin invitation was the obvious choice. See below for a few of my favorites.
After selecting the invitation style, I then moved on to selecting a background to place behind the invitation. I then changed the text around and played with the typography treatment until it was perfect.
Next, I got to choose my envelope style, down to the liner and stamp that was included. After making my selections and filling in the rest of my event details, I could preview what it would look like when recipients received it.
I love having Paperless Post as an option to quickly and easily send elegant invitations. As a graphic designer and stationery creator, I really care about the quality and style of the invitations I am sending as well as the overall experience for both the recipients and the sender. The ease of collecting RSVPs is such a great feature of Paperless Post and it is truly unique to the digital invitation space. I love how my invitations turned out and cannot wait to plan more events with Paperless Post!
