With mother’s day just around the corner, i’ve curated a unique selection of gift ideas for the special lady in your life.
These are all products that I truly love and value having in my life.
1. The Bouqs Flowers // 2. Paddywax Candles // 3. Love & Salt Spray // 4. Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask // 5. Magnolia Table Cookbook // 6. Drunk Elephant The Littles // 7. Pottery Barn Faux Fur Robe // 8. Minted Photo Art // 9. Emily & Merritt Cosmetic Bag
I love having fresh flowers in my house, and my favorite kinds of flowers to get are these gorgeous farm fresh flowers from the bouqs. To be honest, I don’t really like the flowers you receive from traditional arrangement companies. They don’t always arrive looking the best, they are severely overpriced (especially on holidays), I don’t love their selections, and I usually don’t want one of their stock vases.
All of the candles on this site come in gorgeous jars, and the scents are incredible. After using up the candle, any of the jars could be reused to hold small items like matches or as a vase for a small succulent.
The first thing I fell for when I saw this sea salt spray was the pretty glass bottle packaging, and the next thing was the scent that reminded me of the ocean. I’ve used this for years as a body spray, face spray, and in my hair. For your hair, it gives you beachy waves. I’ve always been a firm believer that the ocean cures everything, so when I’m far from the sea, I’ll spritz a little on my face to help clear up any skin problems.
I’d been hearing about this lip sleeping mask for a while, and just recently snagged it during the sephora sale. I’m so upset I didn’t try it sooner, especially for the $20 price tag. I would honestly pay $100 for this stuff. Just use the included scoop to scoop out just enough to cover your lips before bed. You’ll wake up in the morning with THE softest lips. I’ve only been using it every other night for a week now, and I already have noticed a significant difference. I’ve always had very dry, flaky lips. That has completely changed since using this lip sleeping mask. I have a feeling this tub will last a while, but I definitely plan to always have some on hand.
I’ve tried a few recipes from The Magnolia Journal, including Joanna’s lemon pie recipe that I can’t get enough of (it’s included in this cookbook). I knew I had to buy the full cookbook so I could try more recipes. I just finished flipping through the pages, and I cannot wait to start cooking. It’s the first time I have ever looked through a cookbook and wanted to cook EVERY RECIPE. The best part is that they all look fairly simple and don’t list strange ingredients that you have to buy just for one recipe, which I hate. It’s actually got me looking forward cooking, which is a change. I will definitely post some of my favorite recipes.
While I do realize Drunk Elephant products are expensive, I can now attest that they are worth every penny. It’s hard to make the initial investment, but that is why I think this little set is so great. Not only is it perfect for travel, but it gives you a chance to try a variety of products and see which ones are the ones worth investing in for your skin. I think sets like this make a great gift because it’s one of those things that people don’t always want to spend their own money on, but they may just discover something they love without having to take the gamble with their own money!
I don’t own this robe myself, but I bought it for my MIL last christmas and she loves it. It looks so luxurious and is definitely a great indulgent gift that most mom’s would enjoy, but likely wouldn’t spend the money on for themselves.
Minted has the best gifts! I love their photo art gift collection because it is all so unique and high quality. Every mother loves a framed print of their family members, and you can personalize Minted photo art with multiple photos, different color ways, and customizable text to make it truly one of a kind.
I’m obsessed with everything in the Emily & Merritt pottery barn collection, especially this chic cosmetics bag. I think a big bag like this is best for travel because it allows you to really see everything in your case rather than having to dig through. This one can be monogrammed too for an extra personal touch.
